Dichotomies
Sun in the sky
Cloudless and blithe
Moon in the night
So dark yet bright
Cloudless and blithe
Moon in the night
So dark yet bright
I walked the woods
And hummed a song
To return home
I walked alone
The forest weeps
It’s cold and harsh
But it's the leaves
That fall like art
All suns do set
All moons do rise
All poles apart
Yet share one track
Dichotomies
They share a dome
One starts the day
One walks you home
August sunsets,
August moonlight,
They paint the days
And shine for nights
A marvelous
Eternal rule
The sun and moon –
A timeless swoon.
