Are we missing out the fun being quarantined at home?

Remember the days, when we literally rushed every morning going to school? Yup! Those were the days when we students needed to be in school on time. To be in the classroom before our teachers arrive. Every free time was never enough for our “girls talk”’ while the boys were in their favorite corner too. Sometimes together we share crazy-nonsense talks and giggles. Oh! That always made our day. The days when those having “secret crushes” would always find time to have a look at someone's classroom. The hi and hellos, the smiles, the unnecessary rants in the hallway, or in the playground. I am sure you and I are missing it all now. Each month was loaded with different academic and non-academic activities. Science Club activities, Buwan ng Wika, Christmas Parties, Student Council Elections, High School Nights, graduations and most of all the Prom Night are among the school activities that we wish to attend again s...

Parents: Borderline

Boundaries of being a Parent What a parent shouldn't do nor say to their child. In broad daylight, a child was breathing in life. Pureness shining within the eyes that formed crescents as it smiled upon seeing them. The child had the world in those little hands that couldn’t even spread wide just yet. By the very moment that child had inhaled, they took responsibility for everything the child needed from the first steps to the last. It was their duty to embrace the child with love; hold the child with sincerity; treat the child with utmost care and gentleness deserved. However, as the child took those first steps until she could walk on her own — that was when everything started to change for her. When she could fully comprehend everything now, she could finally understand what life has to offer to every breathing child that did no harm. Some of them, the pillar, would take advantage of titles that they deemed to be grasped tightly — not even realizing that they were starting to s...

Computer Algorithmic Xenobots: Ang Kauna-unahang Makinang Buhay

Living Robots, Innovation or Revolution? A xenobot, derived from the skin cells of frog embryos. "These are novel living machines," sabi ni Joshua Bongard, isang computer scientist at robotics expert ng University of Vermont (2020).
